International workshops on flash floods and non-target screening
After a long, pandemic-related dry spell, two international workshops took place in presence at the ICPR in autumn 2023. On 18 September, experts for non-target screening met at the ICPR secretariat. On 4 October, a workshop on heavy rain and flash floods was held at the BMUV in Bonn.
The Federal Institute of Hydrology (BfG) and the International Commission for the Protection of the Rhine (ICPR) have participated for the second year in a row in the RhineCleanUp on 9 September 2023. Many committed helpers have worked together to clear the banks of the Rhine in Koblenz of rubbish. We thank them for their support and look forward to RhineCleanUp 2024!
ICPR adopts Rhine Monitoring Programme Biology at its Plenary Assembly in Vienna
At the annual plenary assembly of the International Commission for the Protection of the Rhine (ICPR) on 30 June 2023, President Miriam Haritz from Germany and Co-Chair and host Günter Liebel from Austria received the nine delegation well as recognised observers, including NGOs, in Vienna.
