Management plan

According to Article 13, Par. 3, of the Water Framework Directive, a coordinated management plan is to be drafted for the international river basin district Rhine.

The draft of the management plan (part A) is a result of international coordination in the Rhine river basin district. All states have agreed to the international part of the management plan part A.  It consists of a text part and maps, which may be downloaded here.

Thus, during the first half of 2009, the public had a possibility of participating. Replies to statements the ICPR received on the draft of the management plan (part A) are available here. Further background information is available on the websites of the IKSMS for the international Moselle-Saar district or of the IGKB for Lake Constance.
